Deeper Dive with Dr. Ross Greene
Join us for a deeper dive into Collaborative and Proactive Solutions with Dr. Ross Greene—what it looks like in real schools and how to bring it to SPS.
Thank you to everyone who attended and/or watched the "Kids Do Well If They Can" webinar with Dr. Ross Greene from May 12.
One thing we heard loud and clear from participants across Seattle Public Schools: Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) feels right, but there's a real hunger to move beyond understanding the model to actually bringing it to life in classrooms and schools. We are so grateful for that energy, and we want to keep the momentum going.
That's why we're excited to invite you to a Deeper Dive session with Dr. Greene, where we'll dig into:
What CPS actually looks like in real classrooms
How it connects with MTSS, Special Education, and restorative practices
What it would take to implement CPS in Seattle Public Schools
How a pilot and/or district-wide training could move forward
Dr. Greene will be there to answer your questions and dig into this conversation with us directly.
This session is for anyone who cares about kids in our schools:
Educators and school leaders
Special education and student support staff
Families and caregivers
District and central office staff
Here's why this matters: Seattle Public Schools is doing important work around curriculum and instruction — and yet many students are still missing out on learning because of frustration, disengagement, or behavioral escalation. This session is about how we close that gap, together, in practical, lasting, and cost-effective ways.
We'd love to see you there. Hope you can make it!
Summer 2026
Join Our Virtual Book Club: Reimagining Belonging in Schools
We invite you to be part of a thoughtful, community-centered book club exploring The Kids Who Aren't Okay: The Urgent Case for Reimagining Support, Belonging, and Hope in Schools. Together, we’ll reflect on how communities can better support youth—especially those who feel unseen, unsupported, or excluded—and consider what meaningful change could look like in our own communities.
This virtual book club will meet once a month over the course of three months. For each session, we’ll share selected chapters in advance along with guiding questions to support meaningful conversation and reflection. You’re welcome to join for a single session or participate in all three, depending on your interest and availability.
Whether you’re a caregiver, professional, advocate, or community member, this space is for anyone interested in building more inclusive, supportive environments for young people. Come ready to listen, share, and imagine what’s possible together.
